Katy Pytte is a  Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience providing services to children, adolescents, and young adults. 

Katy provides primarily individual therapy and parent coaching. As of Fall 2017, Katy has a trained Havanese therapy dog available as an additional resource at her office. Therapy dogs have been shown to improve communication, social skills, decrease anxiety, improve trust, empathy and coping mechanisms. While this in no way replaces the therapeutic techniques that Katy utilizes, it can enhance the counseling experience. Katy’s small dog can be comforting for children and adolescents who have had some hardships. Accommodations can easily be made for clients who would prefer for him not to be in her office during the session.
